Barn Hunt Clinics with Holly Nagle:  May 4, 5, and 6, 2018

INTRODUCTION TO BARN HUNT – Friday May 4th  5-8pm - FULL

Learn all about the newest dog sport that is sweeping the country. We will discuss some of the Rules & Regulations to get you started along with rat safety. Your dog will be introduced to the course, elements that are required to succeed and the rat, housed in a protective enclosure.  10 working spots, unlimited auditing.

 

INDICATION – Saturday May 5th 9-12pm

Frustrated that your dog finds the hidden tube and doesn't let you know? A common problem in Barn

Hunt. In this clinic we will strengthen our dogs understanding of the game, how to listen to your dog and show them how to let you know they have found the correct tube. This clinic is open to all levels. 10 working spots, unlimited auditing.

 

TUNNELS – Saturday May 5th 1-4pm

The tunnel is one of the first behaviors that is lost in Barn Hunt. In this clinic we will start with the

Novice tunnel and work our way up to a Master 3 or 4 turn tunnel adding value back into the performance. We will work at the level that you and your dog need to be successful. This clinic is open to all levels. 10 working spots, unlimited auditing.

 

TEAMWORK – Sunday May 6th 8-11am

Or as Holly refer to as “You sound like Charlie Brown's teacher”. Are you constantly chatting and calling

your dog off from smells that are interesting? This is a sport where the dog leads and we offer guidance where needed. Learn when you are in the way and interfering with your working dog. This clinic is open to all levels. 10 working spots, unlimited auditing.

 

FUN TEST – Sunday May 6th 12-5pm - Click here for the premium

Registration is open.  This is a separate, mail-in registration from the clinics.  

50 runs or until 5:00 pm.

You CAN run multiple levels at the fun test.
