Intro to Dog Ball
This class start with basic targeting and body positioning work with your dog and then you and your dog build skills in moving a ball a certain direction and working at distance. The last week of class may be a video competition opportunity, depending on the skill level of the class.
Prerequisite: basic obedience, your dog should be able to behave around other dogs in a class setting, and you need to have done some kind of reward based training with your dog.

Dog Ball - Practice and Video Competition
Get practice time and coaching in preparation for a video submission for your Novice Dog Ball title. Your dog works on maneuvering a large inflated ball through a course as directed by their handler. You sharpen your targeting and body positioning work to movie with your dog in specific directions and working at distance. The last week of class will be a video competition. Submission of the video will be your responsibility and requires registration with WAGS Dog Sports.

It's like playing soccer with your dog! Your dog learns how to maneuver a large inflated ball (like a yoga ball) through a course as directed by you. As you build your skills you add in more balls and challenging courses.
